Enterprise Edition allows all the detailed operations involved
in the creation of packaging to be stored in a central
database. The creation of time-consuming, manually created
one-offs are a thing of the past now that users are
able to enjoy the advantages of a completely new option:
automatic artwork generation. Provision is made for
the storage and processing of all packaging data in
a central system, from which PacOnline® automatically generates ready-to-print artwork
files, such as color-separated .eps files.
The new feature: dynamic linking of
content, layout and technical parameters, thanks to
which PacOnline®'s can automatically
generate a range of different sizes of packaging, or
add new logos, languages or product texts. Whatever
visual or technical modifications necessary for the
packaging, the system executes them automatically. At
the same time, dynamic artwork provides the platform
for all internal proofing processes. Once these have
been completed, the artwork file can be stored in the
Media Warehouse, ready for printing. The entire process
is completed with no need for any manually executed
graphic work.
