PacOnline - Artwork Life Cycle Management

The development of our PacOnline^® software has been driven by sector-related requirements. This development started as a shared project with the Institute for Applied Work Science at the University of Aachen with the aim of enhancing our own customer communication at the digital pre-print stage. From there, customer project-related development has taken us forward to a high-performance software system for artwork life cycle management.

The ongoing development PacOnline^® is driven by the requirements of specialists in the field of packaging. Accurate knowledge of processes in companies where large quantities of printed packaging items need to be handled, together with the ability to identify the needs of suppliers and service providers, has provided the right platform for Spirit GmbH to develop PacOnline^® as a hands-on, IT solution. This software has been developed by Spirit GmbH in compliance to GMP standards, confirmed by external audits at regular intervals. This software is the fruit of the experience of many years‘ expertise in the field of packaging and software development, backed by close cooperation with customers and other experts in the field.

2D-CAD

Design and creation of working design from the folded-box to display

3D-CAD

Design and virtual, photorealistic presentations of new products

Digital pre-print stage

Technical preparation of raw data to be printed to customer specifications. Everything from creation of final digital artwork to plotting out the complete sheet.

CTP and CTF

Production of CTF (computer-to-plate) and digital CTP (computer-to-file) for printing packaging and displays.
